Fans are available in a variety of sizes (24", 34", 42", 44", 48", 52", 54", 56", 60", amd 72"). The smaller sizes are ideal for small kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms.
Outdoor/indoor fans are usually made from ABS plastic that is UV resistant. The hardware should be stainless steel except for things like the pull chain switch. The motor housing and the canopy are powder coated steel. It is not recommended that you use an indoor fan outdoors due to weather and moisture conditions. The manufacturer will void warranty.
Ceiling fan manufacturers will offer both "Damp" location and "Wet" location fans, see the product specifications in our online catalog. They are offered with weather resistant blades and motor.
Most ceiling fans such as Monte Carlo or comparable are 1 amp. They are about .15 horsepower – 1 horsepower = 746 watts. So one ceiling fan will consume 120 watts of electricity.
Fan lights not only illuminate your living area space with ambient or general light, but add warmth and natural beauty to your home.
There are many types of lighting for your fan; UL Damp Listed Indoor/Outdoor kits with one 60A lamp, marbleized glass light kits in most finishes with 2 60A lamps, 12v halogen light kits and cluster kits with 3 and 4 60A lamps.
Cluster kits offer the most style and versatility to add to any décor. The 4 and 4 light fitters are UL listed and will accommodate many glass accessories, with great selection.
